Tourist Attractions in Chiba: Disneyland and Beer Factory

Chiba prefecture is next to Tokyo and easy to access by train or car.

It’s 1.5 times bigger than Tokyo and you can enjoy different kind of food and attractions.

LalaPort Tokyo Bay (ららぽーと)

This is a big mall located in Funabashi City (船橋市).

Shops open between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. during week and 10:00a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekend and holiday.

Hours of restaurants vary. Some open at 11:00 a.m. and close 12:00 a.m., while others close at 9:00 p.m.

They have 3 floors and you can spend a day or two in here.

If you come from Tokyo, it takes about 1 hour depending on what train you take.

It is located in Funabashi City. In this factory, Sapporo beer is brewed and you can taste fresh beer!

They open between 10:00a.m. and 5:00p.m.

They have Black Label Tour (黒ラベルツアー) for 500 yen and you would learn how Black Label was created and their secret ingredients.

At the end of tour, you would get fresh Black Label beer!!

It’s fresh and tasty so it’s worth to pay 500 and join the tour.

Tours are held every hour.

Yup, it’s called Tokyo Disneyland, yet it is located in Maihama, Urayasu City, Chiba prefecture.

Even if you are not big fan of Disneyland, you would enjoy this resort.

It attracts not only Japanese but also international travelers. Some fans have an annual pass and go there quite often.

Located in Kamogawa City, it takes about 2 hours from Tokyo Station.

They have shows by killer whale (orca), dolphins, Beluga, sea lions and pelicans.

Hours of operation varies but usually it opens at 9a.m.

Their goals are to educate people, protect wild animals, conduct research on how to take care of animals and connect to local community.

They also have special events for kids, ladies and couples.
