What is Maternity Leave?

Maternity leave is a benefit that mothers receive money from government while they take care of their babies.

Specific terms vary depending on countries.

It usually requires that the same company has employed the women for over 1 year and they would go back to work after maternity leave.

There are also paternity leave and adaption leave though, I’m going to focus on maternity leave today.
