You work hard, study hard so you deserve it. Treat yourself once a year.

 

If you were dating, you would have to spend a few hundred dollars (or 10,000 yen to 30,000, depending on gifts) on your partner.

 

Be happy to be single because you can use the money for yourself!

 

 

Have a Party with Single Friends

I bet not ALL your friends have partners, so why don’t you have a party with single pals?

Get some drinks and food, and scream “Valentine’s Day sucks!!”

Laugh and have some fun!

 

At the end of party you would probably forget about Valentine’s Day.

 

 

Spend Like Normal Day

 

For couples, Valentine’s Day is a special day for sure, but it doesn’t have to be the same to others.

It’s just February 14^th and you can do the usual stuff just like other 364 days.

If you work on Valentine’s Day, go home, have dinner, watch TV and go to bed (if that’s what you usually do).

You can go get massage and treat yourself on Valentine’s Day!

Make a reservation and spend money and time for yourself.

Don’t feel like cooking or eating out? Then order pizza and have a party at home!

You don’t have to invite anyone but just eat pizza and enjoy Netflix or whatever.

If you prefer you can invite friends of course.

Watch comedy and laugh until you almost chock the pizza!

 

 

Go to a Short Trip

It’s a great idea to get out of the house and go somewhere.

Ride a bike or drive a car to avoid couples.

You could take transportation but there would be a lot of couples.

 

If you can take a couple days off, maybe book hotel and go to a short trip.

You can go anywhere and eat anything you want!!

 

Watch Dramas or Movies

You are probably too busy to watch dramas or movies during week.

Get your favorite ones to spend a great time alone.

 

I love to watch movies but don’t have time to enjoy… SO! If you like watching those, just try when you can.

You can also combine with pizza party. With some beer or wine.

What about singles?

 

Singles can enjoy the day as well!

 

Valentine’s Day for this year, 2018, is Wednesday so if you don’t plan to do anything special, go home as quickly as possible after work.
