Who runs this blog?
2017/04/18

Hello everyone!
Thank you for visiting this blog.
My name is Mina and I was born in Japan.
When I was 19 years old, I came to Canada and I’ve been here since then.
I have always wanted to do something for Japan and Canada.
And I have decided to run this blog to introduce Japan and Japanese culture from Canadian point of view.
This is my first blog!
I’m pretty excited and thrilled.
A little bit of myself…
When I was in high school, I didn’t really study.
I enjoyed hanging out with my friends and working part time.
I loved making money on my own because it made me feel as if I was independent.
It was such a precious time.
As a child, I was interested in foreign countries, cultures and languages.
And my parents suggested me to go to English speaking country to study.
WOW!
What an awesome idea!!
I was so lucky that my parents were understanding and supported me while I was a student.
It was definitely tough to study in university.
I couldn’t understand what Canadians were saying and I couldn’t communicate with them at the beginning.
My listening and speaking sucked.
Now it’s better but not perfect.
Fortunately I managed to graduate from university in Canada and I’m still here working full time.
I love Japan and I like to stay in Canada.
My ideal is living in Canada during summer and staying in Japan during winter:)
My goal is to deliver honest opinion and proper information about Japan.
If you have any opinions or ideas, please leave comment.
Thanks for reading this. I hope you enjoy other posts as well!
